About the Maker
Caleb Byerly
Caleb Byerly grew up as a musician and a craftsmen, when about in 2008, he put the two together and started making musical instruments. He started with flutes and drums and then stringed instruments.
Caleb has had the opportunity to travel all around the world and live with indigenous groups in difference nations. This has been transformational to him, to see the heart of indigenous people and partner with them in lifting each other up. This has led Caleb to do extensive research on indigenous sounds and the making of native musical instruments and he has the desire to see them redeemed and even introduced in western music.
Caleb lives most his life in North Carolina, USA where he hand crafts his instruments from start to finish. Check out our website where you can learn more about what we do with our love for music, the international language.
